California State University students
If you’re a California State University (CSU) student seeking medication abortion services, follow these steps. All students who are currently enrolled and pay the student health services fee are eligible for services.
Step 1: Have your student ID number handy
It's helpful to know the date of your last period and the date of the period you recently missed. It’s OK if you don’t know these.
Step 2: Call your student health center
Find the number for your campus.

Step 3: Follow the script
Hello, I am student at [your campus] and I am/might be pregnant and do not want to be. I would like to schedule an appointment to see if I can get a medication abortion. What appointments do you have available? Also, can you please tell me the cost for this service? I understand that it should be no more than $65-70.*
*Some health centers include extras like pain medication that may impact the cost.
Step 4: Schedule your appointment
Choose a time that works for you.
Step 5: Show up to your scheduled appointment
You can bring a supportive friend or family member. Take the prescribed medication abortion pills as instructed. Follow any after-care instructions.
